DIGITAL-WATER city (DWC) is all about leading the urban water management to its digital future.
Even though groundwater plays a fundamental role in modern society, groundwater and the geological media are hidden components of the water cycle, difficult to assess, to evaluate and to communicate.
An AR app for mobile devices will be developed by Vragments. By on-site as well as location-agnostic and scalable visualizations (tabletop AR) the awareness and understanding of the interested public is increased. It will be promoted to teach underground processes at guided tours through the Berlin waterworks as well as in schools and universities.
